The "Lost Dog" photo idea came to me early one morning
just after the 2nd challenge was announced.

I've worked on different versions of the photo
and eliminated all but two versions.

This is the "rated PG" version.

This photo represents my first real attempt at using
Photoshop for more than just levels. I merged three
photos to make this one finished image.

I like this one much better than the other "R" rated one. It suggests hope and loyalty in the face of the overpowering odds represented by the endless streets in front of her. Even if the outcome "may" not be a happy one. It's as if the ghost of the dog is leading the little girl to find him. Hey, I'm a hopeless Red Sox fan...I know anout hope and loyalty and overpowering odds. ~Al Pacheco
