My girlfriend and I spent the day on the beach this past Sunday enjoying the sunshine(and waiting for the sun to set for photo ops). I made a few shots of this scene without my girlfirend in frame, then made a few with some pelicans flying by. When the sun finally poked below the cloud line, I positioned my girlfirend in front of the reflected sun light and made this photo.

Had the challenge been anounced a few hours earlier, this photo could have been eligible. :( All in all though, I am just happy to share my work, and receive comments such as yours, Earl and Jim.

Beautiful composition. The reflection of the sun silhouetting the woman is perfect. Just a beautiful photo perfectly reflecting the challenge theme. Nicely done!

Kevin, This is a beautiful photo. Love the sunset, the position of the person in main beam of light, their shadow almost looking like a reflection because of the silhouetting. Too bad about the time of the shot as I think this could have been a strong contender in the eligible. E-
