Thanks, Pops, I'm really shocked by the extremely shallow DOF...of late I'm shooting with my primes, learning the new camera, etc....and the camera didn't cycle down to 1/60th of a second as the XT always did...it just opened up the lens as far as it could.

Additionally, I wish I had had time to set up the EX 580 with an off the camera cord, but, it wasn't possible....so you shoot what you can, when you can, learning lessons along the way if possible.
