Valencia, Spain

Modern architecture fascinates me.
I am proud of living in a country
that offers an enormous amount of
interesting work as, for instance,
the opera-house "Palau de les Arts"
by the Spanish architect Santiago
Calatrava, built in his home-town.
(He is a Spaniard, BTW, living
in Switzerland; and I am a Swiss
living in Spain...)

When I was studying architecture in college it never ceased to amaze me what fluid and dynamic shapes could grow from steel and brick and concrete and ceramics. 40 years (+) later it still amazes me. Nice!
