Welcome to the challenges AJ - hope to see more of your work here!
The out-of-focus foreground puts the viewer in your shoes and adds to the sense of this being a spur of moment shot, as you put it yourself. This blurred foreground takes up almost half of the image, but cropping any of it off, would worsen the composition.
AJ > Thanks Nico. It was a pin drop silence in this area of the museum. It was a spur of the moment shot. I am new here, joined yesterday. Came across this site while googling something.
Superb, AJ! Welcome to the challenges. (I cannot recall having seen your name here?) The out-of-focus foreground gives the image a kind of voyeur-like quality, as if the viewer is instruding on this moment of peace and tranquility. 100% on topic. Compliments. Nico
