Michael--You have taken my breath away with this one!! It's gorgeous and it's interesting how you achieved it. Sounds complicated but shows what can be done with an artistic imagination and wonderful PS skills. Bravo! shu

Sharon, the bird's head is a hawk that I saw in my front yard...I got lucky.

Lydia, yes, the tattoo is real (I'm not that good, LOL!). He spent many hours having it done and it's fantastic to see it for real. The model asked to do a piece that was phoenix related and featured his tattoo.

dt, the rays of light are an image of existing art. I added some additional rays by using a black layer, red layer, orange layer, and yellow layer, all with layer masks.

What a fascinating image, Michael. As usual, it's well done and interesting. Is the tatto real? Or are you just that good? :) I wish there were a bit more light on his face... but gee.. .I hate to complain about anything in an image like this! ~Lydia
