Thanks L. Clem. It was a case of being in the right place at the right time. I was trying to capture the conjunction of Venus and....I think it was Saturn (see "once in a blue moon, too")...when the jet flew by with its contrails lit up by the sun which had dropped below the horizon. -dtallakson
