Thanks Michael and Lydia :-) I'm just now thinking it might be easier for the viewer to see the reality in the color knowing this is a telephoto shot. The entire sky didn't get this amount of saturation- that would probably look a bit like Armageddon :-)

I think the fiery nature of this landscape is dramatically enhanced by the use of the foreground silhouette. I was surprised to read that you didn't need to enhance the color, that's splendid. -Michael
