Grace Under Pressure

I borrowed this idea from
http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/wallpaper/GUPegg.jpg)

After destroying 3 eggs I was fortunate enough to have this one for breakfast. I tried a few variations on this idea (vise grips, pipe wrench, and a set of wooden grips... not sure what they're called). Then I found my C-Clamp which is what I wanted in the first place but had trouble locating it in the beginning of this shoot. All the eggs I used fell victim to this C-Clamp. It had to be tightened JUST right or the egg would either fall out or crack under the pressure. The egg isn't in focus but, the tool is and... isn't this about the 'Tool' anyway?

The picture appeared on the sleeve of a Rush album that was released in 1984 under the same title as my picture. I believe the photo is by Hugh Syme who is the art developer for the band.

Hi Alan. I like your rendition with the pegboard background.
I'm quite curious of who the artist is of the image you posted to in your photo description. I actually had shot of a similar idea more than a year agohttp://www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=525162 and have not seen that one.
