Tools of the trade, tools in the shed, tools in the garden, tools in a shop, tools of a hobbyist, tools of an artist. All are very much the sort of things we want to see for this challenge. We'll be looking for still lifes of tools, portraits of people using tools, environmental portraits in the workplace (with tools of course), commercial and editorial stock shots, antique and aged tools, pristine and sparkly tools fresh and unused, and of course quirky out of the box interpretations are always welcome.
Some dictionary definitions of *tool* are
1. an implement, esp. one held in the hand, as a hammer, saw, or file, for performing or facilitating mechanical operations.
2. any instrument of manual operation.
3. the cutting or machining part of a lathe, planer, drill, or similar machine.
4. the machine itself; a machine tool.
5. anything used as a means of accomplishing a task or purpose.
Proceed to take photos of tools of many descriptions. Images with tools are what we want entered for this challenge. Images without tools, obviously are not, and will be sent to pending gallery without supper.
