I had got a bit hot after my 1st prowl round the cliffs and am so used to this beach as a 'must swim' that I was floundering in the water before realising the water temperature was somewhat lower than yesterdays. Went for warm up walk to Portloe and had a cream tea in a force 9 gale, the hotel staff being too well trained to refuse to serve me on the terrace
