Mostly prized as a landscape by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and an estate with which the NT ( http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome ) is evidently finding it hard to establish a new identity. Not only was it taken over in a somewhat parlous condition, but additionally with some rather interesting colouring of the Robert Adam plasterwork by the Hari Krishna Trust its previous owners.
