thank you folks! the background image is one i snapped at a recent visit to fairfield collage where my granddaughter had some artwork displayed. w permission, i shot another small piece hanging on the wall since i loved the design. i made a digital sketch of this little gal who is in my grandson't class, and changing everything to b&w. i toned it w a mix of color and dropped a couple of flowers into the border since i thought it needed something. thanks for your comments. i hastilly create things not rememering steps i take and, of course, never to be able to duplicate the workflow again. too bad. shu
