Stole some time today from a project I'm trying to avoid doing.

All done in Photoshop CS4. I started with the girl's hair, and tried to flow the smoke into the same rhythm. I used the quick mask on a new layer to blend out the background and somewhere in there, I erased all the spaces in the basketweave texture and overlaid it on everything. Then played around with densities and values 'til I got it kinda working right. Once I had it done, it reminded me of all the static and "stuff" I have going on in my life and how hard it is sometimes to grab hold of a single thought long enough to act on it...and Voilá!
