This was one of those days when I thought it was worth getting drenched.
The sun came out briefly in the times between the downpours and the colours made-up for the soaking.
That opinion may not have been shared by the hundreds of people who were attending an event at the racecourse.

Even so, I would have preferred to have had waterproofs with me.
