If you come upon a picture of Slovenia, it's likely that it will be a picture of Bled. Very picturesque, it has a spirit and aire all its own which draws you in and takes you back about 1,000 years. Highly recommended.

I loved that it was misty and foggy, though I will admit I didn't care much for the torrential downpour. :-)

Sorry that it was foggy when you were there. A sunny day looking at Lake Bled is spectacular, which you can get a hint of by looking at it on a cloudy day. Nice to know this place is becoming more well known, the locals were wonderful. i loved this place
