I first noticed something was wrong last night.
I was using my camera on manual setting and was trying to take a picture of the Brimstone CD, and something kept happening to the exposure, washing out the frame. And, there was a funny sounding click to the shutter.
I was playing around with the camera this morning trying to pin down what was wrong when I took this shot;
this is one of the last good ones that I was able to get.
My F717's now in the repair shop for at least a few weeks while they see if they can fix it.
I'll post when I can (there are two backup cameras around the house that if I
have the heart to take pictures I can probably mooch them off of people)
One's a Canon G5, and the other's a Nikon 5700.
They don't get much use.
But I'm going to miss my 717, that's for sure.
It was all I could do as it was taken away, tagged, and lens cap dangling, to keep from crying after it --
"It likes to be read to at ten with milk and cookies, and make sure it's tucked in by eleven!"
Eh. What?
(You let yours stay up till midnight?!?)
Maybe I will just wait to continue PaD until it gets back.
