Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae forsteri - North- and Northeast-Australia, New Caledonia, Loyalty Island (Southwest-Pacific);
Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae novaehollandiae - South-Australia and Tasmania;
Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae scopulinus - New Zealand.
