Bubo bubo ruthenus - Central-, East- and South-European Russia;
Bubo bubo sibiricus - Ural Mountains of East-European Russia and West-Siberia to Central- and Southwest-Siberia;
Bubo bubo yenisseensis - Central-Siberia to North-Mongolia;
Bubo bubo jakutensis - Northcentral- and Northeast-Siberia;
Bubo bubo turcomanus - Kazakhstan to West-Mongolia and Northwest-China;
Bubo bubo omissus - Northeast-Iran and Turkmenistan to West-China;
Bubo bubo hemachalanus - West-Himalayas to West-Tibet;
Bubo bubo tibetanus - Tibetan Plateau;
Bubo bubo tarimensis - East-Tarim Bassin (West-China) to South-Mongolia;
Bubo bubo kiautschensis - East-China and Korea;
Bubo bubo ussuriensis - Southeast-Siberia and East-Mongolia to Northeast-China and East-Siberia;
Bubo bubo borissowi - Sakhalin and Kuril Islands (off Southeast-Siberia).
