Sicalis flaveola flaveola - Trinidad, Colombia, Venezuela and the Guianas;
Sicalis flaveola valida - West- and Central-Ecuador and Northwest-Peru;
Sicalis flaveola brasiliensis - East-Brazil;
Sicalis flaveola pelzelni - East-Bolivia, Paraguay, Southeast-Brazil, North-Argentina and Uruguay;
Sicalis flaveola koenigi - Northwest-Argentina.
