Coccothraustes coccothraustes nigricans - South-Ukraine, the Caucasus, Northeast-Turkey and North-Iran;
Coccothraustes coccothraustes humii - South-Kazakhstan and East-Uzbekistan to Northeast-Afghanistan;
Coccothraustes coccothraustes shulpini - Southeast-Siberia, Northeast-China and Korea;
Coccothraustes coccothraustes japonicus - Kamchatka Peninsula, Sakhalin, Kuril Islands and Japan.
