A tourists eye view of the early spring views from the ice fields parkway between Jasper Alberta and the Columbia Icefields in the Canadian Rockies. Water flows from the Columbia Icefields into three oceans, it is the hydrological centre of the North American Continent.
I just don't understand why tourists, who spend serious money to get here, speed through the area as though they can't wait to leave one of the most scenic roads in the world..go figure?
