Skhin, thanks for your comment. This female blackbird was in a small tree on the edge of a wetland, the background consists of out-of-focus reed banks that still have their tan / light brown colour from the winter kill. The Nikon 80-400 VR lens renders this type of background quite nicely at low f stops. Dave.

this is a tiny bird but you managed to capture some details. Good shot and nice background. Is this against a wall or some man-made structure?
