Milan - City of Contrasts - February 2005

Our 5-day visit to Milan was wonderful.

The centre of the city is beautiful, but the contrasts are striking :-
- Wonderful, ornate and beautiful architecture - but the city most spoilt by graffiti that I've seen!
- The "Haves" and the "Have nots" - money!!! We didn't shop in the "Fashion District" but we had fun looking!
- Beautiful, peaceful gardens, surronded by normal busy, fast moving city centre roads.

Hi,
I'm from Milan and I agree with you! Beautiful things together with forgotten details. In any case compliments for your photos: Milan is a difficult city to make good photos! (but many great photographers succeeded!)
