La Cambe German War Cemetery, Normandy
More than 21,000 Germans are buried here, the majority of whom died during the Allied landings and ensuing conflict. Many of the soldiers were teenagers.

We took a one day tour of the Normandy battlefields. The tour did not include a visit to La Cambe but our tour guide (pictured in the foreground of the photo) was gracious enough to take us there.
