More than 2,000 years ago, the Chinese started using the sun and wind to prevent spoilage of foods. The dried foods include sausages, pork, ducks, fishes, shrimps and vegetables. Traditionally, winter is the best month for making the dried foods because the wind is dry and cold. Nowadays most of the dry foods are prodcuced in all seasons by dehydrators.
