The Gateway of India is on the top of most visitors' must-see list. Located at the waterfront in South Bombay, the Gateway is traditionally the first thing visitors arriving by boat would see of Mumbai. It was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai in December 1911.
