Its my turn for some apples today! I did several shots and in the end I wasn't happy with any of them. So I used the dry brush action in Photoshop to give an effect.

Yum! I love apples and love this shot too. I'm glad you were subtle with the dry brush technique as it adds just a hint of a different texture, but leaves the beauty of the fruit in full view.
