A Lindbergh Baby connection: card is inscribed as follows.

"Place where 'Jafsie' was sent to find the Lindbergh baby, aboard a certain yacht; after ransom had been paid. He & Col. Lindberg flew there, but they found nothing, & returned to New York."

A note given by the Lindbergh baby's kidnaper read: "The boy is on the boad Nellie. It is a small boad 28 feet long. Two persons are on the boad. The are innocent. You will find the boad between Horseneck Beach and Gay Head near Elizabeth Island."
