This view seems to be from a little higher up - perhaps from the tower at the Outlook.

Despite the name, this is not the entrance to the Hoosac Tunnel, which would be out of sight to our left (and isn't visible from the Trail anyway).


The arrow points to a distinctive bit of foliage that appears in several prints, and demonstrates that they came from the same photo originally.
