Old East Beach from Quansett Rocks to Horseneck Point

This set of images proceeds west from the east end of East Beach. The first set of houses matches the houses seen (from behind) in the last Quansett Rocks images. Some houses are numbered to help with orientation.

All these houses are gone now. The Hurricane of 1938 washed them away.

Large images are from my collection. Smaller images are from online sources including the Westport Historical Society (wpthist). In most cases I have color-corrected images and adjusted contrast to show detail; the reverses are less processed and are closer to the current appearances of the items.
