We went a long way out of our way to find a hole in the clouds so we could see at least part of the Venus transit. Considering where we started that day (on the Pacific coast) and the sketchy information we had about the start of the transit and the weather forecasts, it is remarkable we caught this moment. This was at some park just west of Bend, OR.
