We went to the Maurice Sendak exhibition at the Denver Art Museum. There was a lot of Where the Wild Things Are, including many original sketches, and costumes from the movie version (like this one). I always loved that book, but my favorite Maurice Sendak was the Little Bear series, which he illustrated, but didn't write. My wife still occasionally refers to our 32 year old son, now a software engineer living in London, as "Little Bear". :)
