Past Its Prime

We have a cactus that has just bloomed - and it flowers bloom at dawn and only last one day.
This one bloomed 3 days ago.

It is straight out of the camera - camera was set for Monochrome with some extra contrast. It was cropped a little.

1/160s f/3.5 at 50.0mm iso100 full exif

My first thoughts were “super, perfect example to start the show with”. Then I looked at pending and I continue to say “super perfect opening entry.” See it’s fun right… Paul.

I put a version in Pending of how I normally would have made the B&W conversion of the raw - with no local edits. It is not possible to adjust the in camera processing to get vers 2. Jim
