There is a variant in Pending (I may note there is no joy in sticking your face and camera in a 500 degree broiler...lol)

I remember Campmor. I used to live near one of their stores in New Jersey. If memory serves, it wasn't far from Syms headquarters store. Good shopping back then. Amazon isn't quite the same. I hope you'll be able to tell us what is so compelling when the time is right. Oh, and I used to work for a Paul Eagle. What are the odds his name would appear here?

You know, these conversations are fun....Paul eagle eyed as always, David smart as always, Jim insightful as always...Traveller crawling around on the floor as always!

I am kind of sorry I haven't been around as much as I would like, but life is compelling my efforts elsewhere.

Best Wishes (and Good Night to All) Traveller

4-burner Wolf gas rangetop (rarely more than two used at once) and a Kitchen Aid gas grill outside. The ovens are electric.
I don't see electric appliances as automatically having superior environmental chops. How were those kilowatt hours generated?

Dave if that’s true then every time I go camping my dual 60K BTU Campmor gas stove and the campfires we build are adding to the planets destruction. Makes me feel guilty....... wait a minute I kind of remember a Big Bad Wolf gas stove in your place! Paul

Please don't melt the camera. Have you ever thought of getting a salamander? Of course there's this sobering news: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/article/gas-heat-and-stoves-are-warming-the-climate-should-cities-start-banning-them?cmpid=org=ngp::mc=social::src=facebook::cmp=editorial::add=fb20210405env-gasheatstovesclimate::rid=&sf244601414=1&fbclid=IwAR1lHVvZeUrNbkKbgNbdRgZKshP9OGBD8Tp3kSNLPJ0FXp1J_-IgL6uN56w

I made chili yesterday but didn't take any pictures.

Now this is getting close into your work. And shooting food is great, as you can reward yourself for a good shot with a good meal.

Now T you know what all that salt is going to do to your blood pressure. Paul

You know, the steak does look a little bread crummy...but it isn't, it is a little over cooked and so crusty due to me crawling around on the kitchen floor trying to take a picture...but the damned thing really worked out well...yummy, Traveller

Actually it is only Parmesan and Garlic on the Tomatoes...a little sea salt, fresh ground pepper and a taste of butter...gads it was the best $6.67 I ever spent...(I don't know why steak is so inexpensive where I am...what the heck, when Cherries are in season I do Cherries...I did pick up 5 pounds of grapefruit...so I guess both grapefruit and steak is in season!) Traveller (this was just a fun shot...I was actually buying some props for a shot...and ended up with steak and grapefruit....lol...what the heck).

Great capture Traveller. I prefer this one to the one in pending, it has a more intimate look to it.
Is that a shake of seasoning I see in there ;-)
