12 Time for a Rainbow

This rainbow came went as the sun moved across the sky.
It was there one minute and gone the next. Patience.

Where would we be without them? And we need some women to participate here, so their husbands can have equal time. Same sex couples and all others welcome. We're inclusive. Just keep the photos interesting.

Some of our windows have beveled glass, which produces rainbows. The master bathroom doesn't. This was produced by the beveled vanity mirror. All this is a lot less fancy than I'm making it sound.

I don't see why your prism glass insert doesn't count. Welcome to the Dark Side of the Moon.

Impressive! If your wife is anything like mine when she would find me doing something strange, different or moving things around she’d shake her head and mumble something like “must be a photography project “.

I don’t ever remember a true Mother Nature produced rainbow shining inside our home like that before. We have a prism glass insert on our front door that generates a rainbow effect late morning for a while during certain times of the year but that don’t count as a real rainbow.

Yes, it is door. The shadow is the edge of a countertop. Welcome to our bathroom.
I saw the rainbow during a visit. Went and got my camera only to find it was gone.
Went back to check again and was rewarded. Then I explained what I was doing to my wife.

A very fine capture. As you say - patience. And observation - knowing when the sun would be in the right spot for this.
