I like this better than the other Cactus image that I liked...there is no distracting road, this is clean and full of subtle color. Traveller ...also thanks for the info re the cactus...considering their lifespan, this makes sense.

Thanks guys for the comments. Paul - yes, this is a saguaro cactus. It is illegal under Arizona State law to move or transport any saguaro cactus from public or private land without a permit. I was getting a quote the other day to put one in my yard. You even should keep the N/S orientation the same after you replant it. Jim

I like the scene a lot, nice composition on the large cactus. I think you mentioned previously that's the cacti are protected by a state law of some sort. Paul.
