Not on my Diet

Sad, but true - I shouldn't be eating these Christmas cookies my wife is making; or least not many.

Canon EOS 60D
1/80s f/4.0 at 47.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Oh, these holidays make all of these bad eating habits just go away don't they? Nicely done! My tummy is growling just looking at these cookies!

Here is a new version, same shot. I used Lightroom this time and set the white balance on the powered sugar.

Thanks for the edit. I have a version something like that - white balance set on the paper. But the paper is not pure white. In this version, I had reduced the red a bit to lighten up the brown cookies, but it left more yellow.
I may reshoot, this time with a gray card (which I forgot last time). Besides, my wife baked a couple of others I may try to squeeze in.

Good question. I shot it "warm" on purpose (no flash, kitchen lights).
I'll try a couple of mods later.

Yummy! And yet, I wonder how this would look with a little less yellow in the image? Less warm to be certain, but more true to life? Best Wishes, Traveller
