This is the Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena, Ca, not far from my Pain Management Clinic. The Docs want me out and about, off the couch regardless of whatever pain I might be in...so I took myself here to see the recently loaned maybe very last Self Portrait painted by Van Gough before he shot himself...dead.
I must say that after two months on my back more or less, it was good to be out, to feel the sun, (caution too much information ahead {they have given me lidocaine cream for my right nipple...and the pain radiating out from there has subsided somewhat}).
In any case it was and is hard to find pictures of distress...well there were lots at the Pain Clinic, (but I refuse to shoot that), however, this Maillol is a woman wrapped in...sadness so maybe this works for this Challenge.
