i'm holding a paper napkin up on ea end of the image and decided your rose became more attractive w less green on each side. the slight blur of green will then become a lovely frame for your prize. see, trav, once people starting giving their critiques you may become confused with the many ideas others offer. i do think, tho, that a 1 -1 1/2" crop on either side would really make this pop! shu
Dearest Paul, the background has already been very heavily manipulated, principally with the smudge, blur and clone tools, to create an abstract bed of green for the Rose`....so I guess I don't under stand the feathering? To smooth it?
No, I kind of wanted an overwhelming jungle(ish) background.
Guess I never got around to saying that this is a fine masterpiece you put together Trav. The only thing I think you might have been able to do to improve it would have been add a blur laver for the BG and feather it out. Paul
