That's an impressive morph! The nose is a bit of a hotspot but everything from the textures, blending and layout, look really good.

i noticed something funny when i merged the two images of ed and our cat simpson. .....ed's nose and mouth were almost in perfect alignment with those of our cat! see! i knew animals were almost human.....or rather, ed is an animal...i'll let you figure that one out. LOL

thanks for your nice comments! shu

Shu, I always admire your creativity. Looks like you had to invest a lot of work into this processing - the effort was worthwhile. -Gerald

I would also add that I think seeing you change over the years has been one of the delights of being in the Challenge....your concerns are different, so is your work...this is natural and normal progress. I enjoy you. Thanks. Traveller

Shu the old saying is "do what you do best and don't worry about the rest." Ignore the comments you are seeing popup here recently. Photo enhancement is every bit as important as shooting. Paul

i use photoshop cs3 and i always take the near-completed image into topaz adjust. you may find their software "lifts" the image which could be a good thing. i also "paint" and clone. i use many layers, flattening often. i save the psd files. i have never had a formal photoshop lesson and i'm sure you can tell since all of my images are "experiments," some of which i look at later and say "why did i do that!!!" LOL i may have said this before, but i am quite unable to get around much at times to shoot, so i've taken to using my many thousands of images stored on my external drive to create images to my liking. i also read many many books and magazines and try to keep up to date w the goings on in the image-manipulation world. young people are crazy these days w that stuff! but i admire their freedom in exploring many other avenues of photography and post processing. my grandson bill is doing just that! he is the one member of my family who shares my photography interests.

i appreciate critiques and am quite used to them having been a member of pbase since 2003. i have been involved w the challenges for many years and have changed my focus numerous times. for me, it's now image manipulation. i realize this can wear thin in the cichallenge, but it's fun to create images using a "theme."

hope i've given you enough info......and maybe too much LOL shu

If he sees this latest work of art you've created shu, it might be a concerning issue ;~)

Did you use a dedicated program/plugin for this or just some good old magic with Photoshop. Paul

paul--when i ask ed "who do you love most?" he says "DON'T ASK!!!" (is that something to worry about?) shu
