This looks like a composite, but it isn't. The swans came past at exactly the right time and height.

Thanks for the kind comments. I can take credit for being there at sunset, but I was actually set up for auto bracketing with the camera on a tripod, facing along the coast.
When I saw the swans approaching I had time to get the camera off the tripod and fire off 3 shots, still in auto bracketing. Luckily the correctly exposed one had the birds in the best position. Regards, Michael

Being ready is half the battle. Cartier-Bresson spoke of anticipating the shot. I suspect that played a role here. Well done. -tv
