Thanks Penny, Camera Shy, imqqmi, Nico.

Regarding the question about the blue color, I used a blue plate and a blue poster board behind the plate. No real processing going on except for sharpening and Neat Image. -dtallakson

Well done! (Never in my life managed to get a good droplet shot... and not through lack of trying... so I am always impressed when others get it right!) Regards Nico

I like the serene look of the shot. Makes me want to zoom into a single droplet to see what's inside :)

So much blue well applied. Pre or post processing?

Thanks Lee. Peter, yes, I did focus manually. I had to be careful to drop the drops in the same place each time. -dtallakson

I didn't mention, I love the reflections of the "world" in the drops (and the catch lights)! Did you focus manually?

Thanks Peter and thanks for posting that video link. I think that's exactly what's happening. -dtallakson

Nicely captured! Love the effect. There's a utube video around that shows how drops like this actually bounce, and then lose part of their water, bounce again, etc. The lower drop here seems to be in the process of shedding some of it's water after bouncing.
