Flinders Street Train Station 01

Arrived in Melbourne in the evening. Caught a tram to the city, Flinders Street station. This favourite shot of the gallery was taken diagonally opposite the station.

Thanx for the compliment.

Yes, tripod is a must on this kind of shots. No way to handheld even with IS.

Good use of evening sky and artificial lighting from the buildings. Good job. :)

Did you use a tripod for this shot? If you used handheld, what was the shuttle speed you were shooting at?

I'm using the 28-135 IS USM, which was listed under the picture. Will show you when we're in SBG tomorrow morning. It's a great piece of glass for general photography. However, the pics taken can be quite soft. So I always use PS Elements to USM them.

When you increase the f-stops, the star effect will automatically show. :-)
