Eastern Water Dragons - Physignathus lesueurii lesueurii
From Brisbane to Bundaberg we had several good views of Eastern Water Dragons in the wild.
This was something new for us! They were particularly plentiful at the Bundaberg Botanical
Gardens, where not only did we see them basking on rocks but observed them as good swimmers,
fast runners and strong tree climbers. These dragons can grow up to a couple feet in length!
