- PHAR LAP COLLECTION BY CHERYL RIDGE ** HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY, PHAR LAP - 4 OCTOBER 2026 **

- This gallery is dedicated to the legendary racehorse Phar Lap and the array of Pharlap merchandise and memorabilia I have collected over the years.

- Phar Lap, a big chestnut Thoroughbred gelding is trans-tasman icon & treasure. A horse racing legend who captured the hearts of Australia, NZ & the world.
Born in Timaru New Zealand in 1926, he resides (his mounted hide) in the Melbourne Museum Australia, where he continues to attract visitors & admirers.
