Our South Pacific cruise
Noumea, Grand Terre, New Caledonia

Noumea was our last port of call before heading home to Australia. As we had experienced gorgeous beaches at
Mystery Island and Isle of Pines we decided not to do any beach/island activities in Noumea. Instead we chose to
book a 2.5 hour 'Country Tour' from the ship terminal which was a good sampler of the local areas including Ouen
Toro lookout, views of local beaches on route and a visit to the Tjibaou Cultural Centre with its unique architecture.
In the afternoon we enjoyed time at Aquarium des Lagons which was well set out. Au Revoir Nouvelle Caledonie!
