The place I had dreamed about became the highlight of our trip. A place of unique natural beauty, tall green pine trees
contrasting with crystal clear waters, where I could stand and have fish swarming around me without even needing to
swim or snorkel. A glimpse of paradise thanks to our private driver, Guy Vakie, who I'd discovered prior to our cruise.
Pristine beaches, a stunning natural pool, jail ruins, birdsong, historical church, totem poles, tribal boats and tranquility
would be a summary of what we experienced and would love to again someday! Places we visited:

- Kuto Bay main tourist area with beach, market and tours
- St Maurice Bay also called Totems Bay for its carved tribal totem poles
- St Josephs Bay home of traditional outrigger canoes
- Old French convict jail ruins Vestiges du Bagne in Ouro dated late 1800s
- Piscine Naturelle also called natural aquarium or natural pool, highlight of our cruise
