Gluepot reserve is a large block of mallee scrub, three hours
drive north-east of Adelaide. It is owned by Birds Australia
and is mallee heaven for the bird watcher. We spent a couple of days
there camping (had to be self-sufficient) and covered more than
200kms just driving the Gluepot tracks!
This gallery features the birds I photographed while staying at
Gluepot. I saw other birds but was unable to identify them due
to not using binoculars plus the fact that birds are often just
flying, and didn't get close views of those.
Note: re thumbnails reference sample here: original images have been moved to my
"Australian Wildlife" section on pbase.
