A "Hare Scramble" just outside of Maplesville, Alabama on Sunday, Jan. 12th. I haven't been to anything like this in many years. I couldn't help but think of Knights in armor on charging stallions (probably because I recently read Michael Crichton's Timeline which gave me a healthy dose of feudal France circa 1357) or maybe some futuristic tribe of alien warriors.

I'll have to go again and wear something besides my tennis shoes so that I can search out the best areas of the track for photos.
